Day 1: Arrive Istanbul
Arrive at Ataturk airport in
Istanbul
and transfer to our hotel. Overnight:

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour (B, L)
Tour Topkapi Palace (Closed on Tuesdays) residence of
Ottoman sultans, the Hippodrome, site of chariot races,
the Blue Mosque, famous for its colorful ceramics and
Saint Sophia ( Closed on Mondays) decorated with ancient
frescoes. Enjoy the 3,000 shops in the Covered Bazaar.
Overnight:
Istanbul.
Day 3: Istanbul (B)
A
half-day tour of Dolmabahce
Palace (Closed on Mondays and Thursdays) or a cruise on the Bosphorus, depending on the weather conditions. Free
time to explore the city. Overnight:
Istanbul
Day 4: Istanbul – Kayseri – Cappadocia (B, L, D)
Early flight to Kayseri. Drive to Cappadocia. Tour Goreme’s rock chapels decorated with 6th
century frescoes, Zelve’s cliff-side Byzantine monastic
complex and Uchisar’s natural citadel. Finally, explore
the eight-story underground city of Kaymakli where thousands of
early Christians hid from persecutors. Overnight in
Cappadocia.
Day 5: Cappadocia / Kayseri

After breakfast drive to Kayseri airport for your flight to
Izmir
(via Istanbul
connection).
Arrive Izmir and transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Izmir
Day 6: Pamukkale -
Izmir (B, L)
Travel to Pamukkale’s white lime
cascades formed by hot mineral springs. After touring
the Hierapolis Roman health spa ruins, return to
Izmir
for overnight.
Day 7: Ephesus & St. Mary tour (B, L)
Today drive to Selcuk and tour the
glorious Greco-Roman ruins of Ephesus, one of the best
preserved classical city of the Eastern Mediterranean
dated back to 2000 years. Later we will drive to the
hilltop where we visit the miraculously discovered
Virgin Mary’s House. Overnight: Izmir
Day 8: Izmir – Istanbul (B)
Transfer to Izmir airport for your flight to Istanbul. Transfer to your hotel. Free
afternoon in
Istanbul.
Overnight: Istanbul
Day 9: Istanbul
